Strathclyde Engages with the NHS: Challenges and Opportunities in Mental Health Research

This Health Technologies - Neuroscience event aims to bring together research experts, clinicians and NHS professionals to discuss collaborative opportunities and to identify future R & D strategies. 

A range of speakers from the NHS and the University's Health Technologies at Strathclyde team will present on the capacity to conduct research, the barriers often faced and why clinical research is so important for patients.  Successful academic-NHS partnerships will be showcased along with enabling technologies and facilities at the University of Strathclyde which could provide opportunities to develop new, and strengthen existing, collaborations.
