Diving into the Evidence-Base for Everyday Practice in Speech and Language Therapy

This practical workshop aims to provide Speech and Language Therapists across all NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde service areas with knowledge and experience in accessing and applying the available evidence base for clinical practice. This workshop will provide a platform to:
- Discuss access to evidence relating to clinical issues in an open encouraging environment
- Learn how to use the evidence to provide rationale for clinical input
- Learn who you can turn to within the community of SLTs within GG&C for support/ guidance and ideas to assist with improving clinical practice / undertaking research
- Promote awareness of the Nancy Maxwell Bequest Fund and how it supports research and clinical practice
This event will close 12:30pm with a networking lunch until 1:30pm.
Who should attend?
Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) from across all areas of Greater Glasgow & Clyde of all grades and all sectors with a curiosity and desire to learn, reflect and improve on their abilities as a clinician.
