David Livingstone LegacyInternational Development Agenda with 21st Century Technology

This celebration marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of David Livingstone – a Strathclyde alumnus whose name is associated with education, trade and health in Africa. Today Strathclyde works with Universities and Colleges in Malawi and other African countries to increase access to education and health among the poorest communities. This event draws on experience among academics, non-governmental organisations, businesses and the donor community to show how Strathclyde makes a difference. The programme for the event will include presentations by key experts, an exhibition and time for networking.
