This event, hosted by Director of the Advanced Space Concepts Laboratory, Professor Massimiliano Vasile on behalf of the Strathclyde Space Institute, provides an opportunity for staff, students and alumni to hear from, and network with, one of the principal employers of engineers in the UK: Airbus Defence & Space Ltd.

An overview of the UK space sector, and the company, including their main projects and missions, such as the Solar Orbiter and ExoMars Rover, will be presented.

Specific sessions will focus on opportunities for collaborative industrial placements, and graduate recruitment schemes. There will also be time for Q&A sessions.

  • Current students studying STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths);

  • Alumni;

  • Academic staff from the University of Strathclyde.
