Cardiovascular Implants: Models, Materials, Monitoring and Early Life

Registration from 1:00 pmThe Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde has research expertise in cardiovascular implants, which is complemented by multidisciplinary teams from across the University.
This event aims to bring together academic experts, industry representatives and leading clinicians, to discuss cardiovascular implant-related research, each contributing to the following themes of the afternoon:
- Technology Showcase – See the breadth of research taking place at the University with a focus on those ready for development with external partners.
- Real World Challenges – Hear from industrial and clinical colleagues presenting their current challenges.
- Collaboration and Networking – Following a presentation on funding opportunities there will be a networking session to initiate new and escalate existing collaborations.
Registration will take place from 1pm and the event will start at 1.30pm.
