This event will showcase some of the very best work that postgraduate research students are undertaking in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The event will run as a poster competition involving students presenting and talking about their work to an invited audience from both inside and outside the University. The Chair of the judging panel is Prof Alan Miller (Scottish Human Rights Commission), alongside post graduate research co-ordinators and senior staff in the faculty.
Prizes will be presented to winning entrants by Professor Miller before the event closes at 1pm.
This event will be of interest to key stakeholders from across the Scottish public, private and voluntary sectors including: governmental and local authorities; private sector companies involved in social research and policy-making; volunteer organisations, in particular those with a focus on matters of equality, health, disability, human rights and other social policy areas such as education and housing
