Find out how CPD and further study opportunities from the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering can grow your business or help you in your career. This open evening event will showcase the unique suite of Postgraduate courses, Continuing Professional Development, Distance Learning and Open Access opportunities available. Attendees can also tour our brand-new state-of-art laboratories.

Staff will be on hand to answer questions about the courses, available scholarships (including fully-funded PhD studentships), the newly launched Industrial Doctorate Scheme as well as our new distance learning options which will be launching in September 2014. Attendees can also find out about hiring our conference space or using our laboratory equipment.


Who should attend?

  • Industry professionals looking to undertake Continuing Professional Development, or Open Access options, or a PhD via the Industrial Doctorate Scheme
  • Anyone interested in using the Department’s laboratory and/or conference facilities
  • Current students (from any backgrounds) looking to undertake an MSc, MRes or a PhD on a full-time or part-time basis
