Showcasing Projects with IndustryProtecting and Enhancing the Environment

This networking event will showcase the wide range of collaborations taking place between the University and a variety of industry partners.

Students from various disciplines have opted to undertake a collaborative project. These include a project with the Hoare Lea consultancy to develop a GIS map tool which can identify material sharing opportunities between construction projects; investigating the use of a seaweed-based biopolymers to develop sustainable construction projects together with Marine Biopolymers; investigating how effective are National Biodiversity Strategies in achieving biodiversity outcomes with DDA International Consulting; evaluating Net Zero disruptors for Scottish Enterprise, and creating a sustainable travel policy for SSE. This event is the students’ opportunity to share their outputs with industry partners in the form of a poster presentation. Delegates will be invited to vote for the best poster.
