Tuesday, 30th April 2013, 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm
This showcase and networking event will bring together a range of stakeholders - those interested in exploring innovative ways of supporting the implementation of the 1+2 languages policy, and those who are keen to provide students considering an assistantship abroad with examples of best practice. Language assistants from Europe, the Americas and Asia will demonstrate the innovative and effective ways in which they have impacted positively on Scottish pupils’ language learning experience. The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session and opportunities for networking. Light snacks and refreshments are included. The event is a collaborative venture between SCILT, Scotland's National Centre for Languages and the British Council in Scotland.
