This event is designed to bring together colleagues from across the University of Strathclyde and project partners to build a research and implementation roadmap for carer research and innovation.

This is the first step in this process and will focus on: (i) sharing ongoing and recent research at Strathclyde focused on the health and wellbeing of caregivers; (ii) to connect a range of professionals interested in collaboration in the caregiver space and (iii) to discuss how we can encourage more engagement with carers and to increase the quality and quantity of carer focused research and events.

Who should attend?

Strathclyde staff (and project partners) who would like to contribute to a vibrant carer research and innovation community based at the University of Strathclyde.

Benefits of attending

  • Networking with other professionals interested in caregiving alongside other disciplines;

  • Discussion about research methodologies including codesign, innovations and evaluations;

  • Brief presentations giving an overview of recent/ongoing research interests at Strathclyde and beyond;

  • An opportunity to shape future outreach and citizen science based from the University of Strathclyde.
