Innovation and entrepreneurship are of national importance for achieving a more inclusive and equitable society, combatting inequality, and achieving our environmental and sustainability targets such as NetZero.

National institutions and regional entrepreneurial ecosystems are at the heart of these efforts by providing access to resources, support, and, more generally, a supportive environment for innovators and entrepreneurs.

The aim of this half-day event is to collaboratively engage with a diverse group of actors from the Scottish entrepreneurial ecosystem and work towards strategies and actions for more inclusive, sustainable, and efficient ecosystem(s).

There will be a networking lunch at 12.30.

Who should attend?

We aim to welcome a diverse representation of the different actors from the ecosystem, including, but not limited to: entrepreneurs, investors and funders, mentors, community builders and leaders, support organisations, and economic development agencies.

Benefits of attending

This event is designed to be part of a wider and continuous engagement with the Scottish entrepreneurial ecosystem. Attendees benefit from discussing the state of entrepreneurship support in Scotland; evaluating the roles of different actors, sub-ecosystems, and clusters; identifying required support mechanisms, resources, and policies; and contributing to new research and modelling opportunities.
