Registration from 10:20 amIncreased devolution and Brexit has led to a much greater interest in understanding the operation of regional economies and how interdependent they are.
This workshop will bring together people who build, are attempting to build, or who are interested in using models at a sub-national level, utilising regional data and modelling techniques where there are data gaps.
We would welcome attendees who are interested in sub-national economic accounts, Input-Output (I-O), and Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) modelling.
Please get in touch with the event organiser by 17th May if you would like to present developments in your work at the workshop.
This event will bring people together from the academic, public and private sectors to discuss approaches and share experiences.
You should have an interest in economic accounts, I-O or CGE modelling at a regional level.
This will allow analysts from across academia and the public sector to come together to discuss techniques and approaches for producing sub-national economic accounts and I-O, and applying analysis through CGE modelling. This is an excellent networking opportunity for individuals in this field.
