The aim of this event is to facilitate the sharing of good practice in science education. This includes widening access of STEM subjects.  An integral part of STEM subjects is laboratory work.  We will discuss approaches to ensuring these are inclusive and how this inclusitivity can be utilised to engage with under-represented groups promoting interactions with STEM subjects.

Who should attend?

This event is aimed at educators from primary to tertiary levels. Teachers, teaching fellows, student teachers, academics are all encouraged to attend.

Benefits of attending

We hope to foster a network for sharing best practice amongst educators as well as providing a supportive environment for this exchange of knowledge. To this end, we hope to have teachers from primary and secondary level education as well as tertiary level to foster best practice in promoting STEM subjects from an early age.
