This is part of a regular software engineering clinic run by a group of research software engineers for Strathclyde and Glasgow University researchers. During these events (“Hacky Hours”) we provide support and advice in software related issues (programming, testing, collaboration, documentation, maintainability, and reliability) for complex and challenging software engineering and development. We will be opening up our May event for external industrial and other Scottish bodies that have research software related questions or issues.  We can offer specialist help on problems in research software engineering and management (programming languages, domain-specific libraries, high-performance computing, collaborative tools, Dev Ops.).

Who should attend?

This event is for technical managers and developers from companies and organisations active in areas such as game development, data capture and analysis, automation or digital twinning. If you have problems which are bespoke and require development of custom software we can help.

Benefits of attending

We support complex software development challenges and maintenance in areas including data analysis, machine learning, robotics and high performance computing across a wide range of languages and platforms.
