Join the University of Strathclyde as we reflect on the pandemic, over 14 months since the first national lockdown. We will look at the NMIS response and how that evolved. We will also consider the broader impact of COVID-19 upon the UK manufacturing sector and debate the opportunities which are now present for potential manufacturing regeneration. Attendees will come away with an improved understanding of how to deploy lessons learned and respond to future challenges more effectively and sustainably.
The event will run for two hours, with four keynote presentations delivered by Professors Jillian MacBryde, Yi Qin, Chris Dungey, and Dr. Tom Inns.
Attendees will then participate in a panel discussion centred on the event's critical themes before an audience Q&A.
The event is for industrial representatives and practitioners working in the manufacturing sector. Furthermore, we welcome those who could benefit from the discussions from our panellists:
Attendees will have the opportunity to reflect critically on a tumultuous year for industry and hear some real-life examples of how organisations responded effectively.
Also, attendees will be provided with expert guidance on rethinking business processes to capitalise on opportunities and better respond to future challenges.
