An exhibition observing the beauty and complexities behind alopecia and wig technology by Daniel Regan and Karena Moore-Millar.

Engage with Strathclyde presents a contemporary exhibition of photography, poetry and design engineering, which showcases the beauty and experiences of people with alopecia.

PhD student Karena Moore-Millar (Department of Design, Manufacture and Engineering Management, University of Strathclyde) was highly commended for her entry in the 2012 Images of Research Competition (Getting "Wiggy" with it!), which has toured venues in the West of Scotland. Her exhibition "Hot Heads" will be alongside 20 photographic images "The Alopecia Project" by Daniel Regan, a widely exhibited and published photographer based in London.

Daniel has worked alongside the charity Alopecia UK for over two years to create a series of striking portraits of men, women and children affected by the condition; images that challenge society's contemporary attitudes toward body image.
