Building on the COVID-19 Island Insights Series authors and project partners will be joined by island related policy makers and stakeholders to discuss how to develop concrete and actionable policy recommendations aimed at moving forward island societies post COVID-19 in a more resilient and sustainable manner. Two workshops will be organised to accommodate all world time zones and participants will work together focusing on specific themes that have been identified by the Insights Series as being particularly important for islands. Health, tourism, digital connectivity and green recovery are likely to be some of the areas that will be discussed.

Who should attend?

This is a closed workshop to Insights authors, project partners and to a selected group of invited island related policy makers and stakeholders.

Please get in touch with (ENGAGE or SCELG?) if you would like to attend the event as an invited guest.

Due to the limited numbers of people that will be able to attend the workshop, we may reach out to you for a follow up discussion after the event

Benefits of attending

You will contribute to shaping concrete and actionable policy recommendations that will boost islands towards a more resilient and sustainable future post COVID-19.
