This event is aimed at those working in FinTech and aligned activities. Findings will be showcased from the EPSRC-funded Cumulative Revelations in Personal Data project in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences.

This project examines:

  • Ways in which people unintentionally reveal more information to others than they intend to across multiple online channels and over time.
  • How this can create reputational and security risks to people and their employers.

A demo will be given of a digital tool that enables people to reflect on risks created when sharing personal information and assist them in managing these.

Via breakout room discussions will be welcomed on the findings, and explore future directions for research within the FinTech community.

Who should attend?

FinTech community in Scotland and wider UK. Practitioners, managers, policymakers, academia, particularly those with an interest in cybersecurity in relation to employees.

Benefits of attending

A chance to hear about cutting-edge research in cybersecurity, and to contribute to the next phase of research.
