This event is the first in a series of Directors’ Insights from the Centre for Board & Director Development at Strathclyde Business School.

The webinar will be hosted by Dr Phil Considine Director of Strathclyde Executive Education who will share plans for new Board level programmes, knowledge exchange and thought leadership events.

Our speaker is the experienced FTSE Chair and former UK IoD Chair, Charlotte Valeur, who will be sharing her experiences and introducing the concept of “Valueism”, from her new book Effective Directors: The Right Questions to Ask (Routledge 2021).

There will be a chance to ask questions after the presentations, we'll have a 20 minute Q&A session to close the event.


Who should attend?

Board Members, Existing & Aspiring Directors, NXDs and Trustees from all sizes of organisations.

This event is a collaboration between Strathclyde Business School, the IoD and the Global Governance Group so open to all their members too.
