Thursday, 13th May 2021, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Registration from 9:50 amThis networking event, hosted by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, will showcase the wide range of collaborations taking place between the University and a variety of industry partners.
Students from various disciplines have opted to undertake a collaborative project, from understanding the environmental and sustainability implications of fire (Arup), to investigate green and climate resilient infrastructure for the Glasgow Avenues Project (Civic Engineers Ltd), to study the circular economy potential of re-galvanizing motorway barriers (Highland Galvanizers). This event is the student's opportunity to share their outputs with their industry partner in the form of a poster presentation, where delegates will be invited to vote for the best poster.
