Registration from 2:30 pmIt is well documented that the UK, including Scotland is facing a productivity challenge. What is much less well understood is what lies behind low levels of productivity and what leaders can do to boost the productivity of their teams and organisations.
This session invites leaders and future leaders to learn more about Scotland’s productivity challenges and the broader economic and social consequences of productivity improvements.
Our keynote speakers are experts in the field of entrepreneurship, business development and economic analysis and advice. Professor Eleanor Shaw is Senior Vice Dean of Strathclyde Business School and formerly, Head of the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship. Professor Graeme Roy is Head of the Department of Economics and Director of the Fraser of Allander Institute. Mr Ranjit Das is Senior Teaching Fellow with the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship. He worked for over 20 years in industry HR and continues to provide bespoke consultancy to businesses. Professor Jillian MacBryde is Professor of Innovation and Operations Management and the Director of Research in the Department of Design, Manufacture and Engineering Management.
