This event celebrates the publication by Bloomsbury of the next book in their Research Methods for Education series, Research Methods for Professional Learning.  Written by Professor Kate Wall (University of Strathclyde) and Professor Elaine Hall (Northumbria University), it provides a reference point for any professional undertaking research to better understand their practice.

The book introduces a framework for researching practice that is sensitive to the affordances and constraints inherent in research across education phases.

Importantly, it includes 18 practical tools that allow the reader to engage practically with a research approach that facilitates teaching and learning and promotes effective professional learning.
