The event is specifically aimed at Scottish policy makers and stakeholders in the fisheries sector. This includes MSPs, Scottish Government / SEPA officials, members of the Scottish Sentencing Council, representatives of third sector organisations and researchers in the field of sustainable fisheries and oceans governance.
This event offers an opportnunity to discuss the challenges for UK and Scottish administrations in addressing illegal fisheries and fisheries crime through international cooperation with academic experts and national and international practitioners.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore potential joint research endeavours with a view to impacting policy.
