Measuring Motion of People Engaged with Virtual EnvironmentsSports Professionals Session

Monday, 29th April 2019, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Registration for this event is closed

The Biomedical Engineering Department has world leading facilities, including the Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment (CAREN). At this event you will be able to experience CAREN and discuss with us possible projects including collaborations, contract research, consultancy and more.

Each booking time has a limited number of attendees and will have a specific sectoral focus. This will allow all attendees to experience CAREN first hand (if they wish) and to help facilitate candid dialogue on potentially commercially sensitive topics.

To book this session, please email Dr Craig Childs - craig.childs@strath.ac.uk

Who should attend?

This session will focus on the application of CAREN for sports professionals (physiotherapists, sports scientists, sports engineers)

Benefits of attending

This is an opportunity to experience and try out cutting edge technology that measures human motion whilst interacting in a virtual environment.

Even if you have no idea how this technology could help you before attending, this event should stimulate innovative future possibilities and we can discuss how the University of Strathclyde Biomedical Engineering Department can help your work/projects.
