Who will have the Image of Research 2019?

A highlight in the Strathclyde calendar for visitors and researchers alike, join us for the eighth Images of Research exhibition to be first to see this year’s shortlisted images and hear Professor Sir Jim McDonald announce the category winners going forward to the public vote.

Images of Research 2019: Innovation for the global good showcases Strathclyde’s endeavours to make society more resilient and inclusive, and demonstrates the impact of our research in tackling today’s global challenges, from technological to physiological. Drawing inspiration from the University’s strategic themes, this year’s categories are:

  • Healthy perspectives
  • Closing the loop
  • Digital connections
  • Tackling uncertainty

This annual competition and subsequent year-long touring exhibition brings the research conducted at Strathclyde to an audience of thousands of people visiting art galleries, museums and public spaces across Scotland and beyond.

The exhibition is aimed at all ages, and anyone with an interest in how our research impacts society.
