The outcomes of the project “Fibre-laser Pumped Diamond Raman Lasers for Lidar and Clear Plastics Welding” will be presented.

Opportunities offered by hybrid fibre-diamond technology will be discussed with industry, particularly the unique combination of output powers, energies, pulse repetition rates and wavelengths that can be achieved.

Round-table discussions will have the following aims: specify application-driven laser parameters of interest to industry; establish how the technology can address these; initiate consortia to adapt this technology to specific industrial needs.

Keynote speakers: J. Nilsson, V.Savitski.
