These are exciting times for the Speech and Language Therapy profession. A considerable emphasis is now placed on developing and using the evidence base to support how we deliver quality services.

Keynote Speaker Professor James Law will share his experiences in contributing to this evidence base, which will springboard discussion about how we can examine, identify and plug the gaps for a range of clinical areas.  Workshops will be provided to support colleagues in:

  • Exploring aspects of study design using examples of studies at the University of Strathclyde
  • Navigating the complexities of Research & Development and NHS ethical processes

Who should attend?

Any Speech and Language Therapist involved in or interested in developing and evaluating service provision.

Benefits of attending

Extending the evidence for Speech and Language Therapy is a key professional priority.  By attending this event delegates will be able to network with and discuss and develop ideas with like-minded colleagues.
