This event will showcase the technical and creative outputs of a Marketing and Chemistry Clinic and demonstrate the value that this joint programme can have to businesses requiring such support.

The clinic provides an occasion for scientists and marketers to explore the challenges of taking a product idea to the marketplace together, and is a dynamic team-based experience for students with a desire to work in businesses where marketing skills and commercial awareness are equally important as technical knowledge.

Attendance at this event is by invite only. Please liaise with the event holder for registration.

Who should attend?

This event is of interest to an audience of small businesses requiring scientific and marketing support for their inventions or products. Postgraduate Marketing and Chemistry students are also encouraged to attend.

Benefits of attending

  • Attendees will learn about the process of commercialisation, through case studies of how companies have been helped previously.
  • SMEs will also discover how clinics run by joint interdisciplinary students can help small businesses.
