Academics, student representatives, parliamentarians, practitioners and policy-makers working in the field of consumer rights and looking at the two topics in the context of Brexit and the new consumer advice and advocacy powers of the Scottish Parliament.

Benefits of attending

The event will provide an opportunity for you to understand the Scottish Government’s position on the on-going UK-EU Negotiation and for some of Scotland’s key policy makers and advisers to hear from you on what you see as the key issues at stake. Crucially, it will also give you the opportunity to help develop further thinking on how Scotland and the UK can best protect consumer rights post-Brexit.  Following the event a SULNE e-book and position paper will be produced informed by the discussion.
