Scotland's Economy 2018

You are warmly invited to this annual event hosted by the University of Strathclyde’s Fraser of Allander Institute (FAI) examining the current state of the Scottish economy and the outlook.

The event will also showcase some of the FAI’s research activities and plans for the year – with poster sessions covering all the Institute’s work programmes.

The event will be chaired by Alf Young and presenters will include FAI Director, Professor Graeme Roy.

With productivity a key issue – and with the Scottish Policy Foundation funding new research into Scotland’s productivity performance – Jane-Frances Kelly (Director of the David Hume Institute) will provide a preview of this new research.

Registration is essential.

Registration and refreshments will be available from 8.30am.

This event will be of interest to business and industry, entrepreneurs, trade unions, public agencies and local authorities as well as third-sector organisations, charitable foundations, the media and media commentators.
