Registration from 11:30 amThis event will focus on the results of this year’s pay and conditions benchmarking exercise for Scottish social care providers, covering issues such as pay, recruitment and retention, training and working time. In addition, it will provide longitudinal insights into the past three – four years of benchmarking reports from both quantitative and qualitative data. There will be responses to the data from Annie Gunner Logan (CCPS Director) and a representative from the Office of the Chief Social Work Adviser.
In addition, there will be a discussion about the impact of the benchmarking study, and information regarding other workforce priorities in the sector.
Registration and lunch will be available from 11.30pm with the event starting at 12.00pm.
The event will provide respondents with up-to-date results from this year’s report, with further analysis of longitudinal data. Responses from CCPS and the Scottish Government representative will encourage debate and discussion around key workforce issues facing social care providers.
