Pathways for Improvement in Health Delivery

Delegates who attended this event are invited to download a copy of the event evaluation form, complete it and return it to engage-week@strath.ac.uk before 12th of June.

This event aims to bring together a diverse range of professionals passionate about health and social care delivery.  It will focus on improvement through operational efficiency, and introduce tools and techniques to tackle the complex problems facing healthcare.

The organisers are delighted that Alan Hunter, Director of Performance and Delivery at NHS Scotland, and Professor John Connaghan, the Deputy Director General and Chief Operating Officer of Health Service Executive Ireland, will speak about their current issues of concern and focus.

There will also be a series of impact presentations on key areas of health research and knowledge exchange from the University of Strathclyde.  The event will conclude with a lively panel discussion.

Registration and refreshments will be available from 2.30pm.

This session is aimed at healthcare professionals, and is especially beneficial for:

  • Scottish Government improvement teams.
  • NHS management and emerging leaders.
  • Innovation and change agents.
  • Academics with an interest in health.
  • Frontline NHS staff wanting to learn about efficiency and improvement.
