Do you want to get the most from your Apprenticeship Levy and give your employees the chance to take part in work-based learning?

This event will give an overview of the Graduate Apprenticeship (GA) degree programmes (equivalent of Degree Apprenticeships (DA) in England) at the University of Strathclyde.  The programmes build on our academic excellence, award winning pedagogic design expertise, understanding of innovative online learning technologies and the delivery of effective work-based learning.

The event will showcase the opportunities afforded to employers in multi-sector organisations looking to recruit, retain and develop their workforce.  The following available GA programmes are available from September 2018:

  • GA in Engineering: Design and Manufacture
  • GA in IT: Software Development
  • GA in Business Management

Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear the business rationale from two of our partnered employers of their decision to select GA programmes:

  • Shona Darroch – HR Manager – Castle Precision Engineering.
  • Nuala McIntyre – Talent Acquisition – Leidos UK & Europe.

Registration and lunch will be available from 12.30pm.

Who should attend?

This event is designed for employers across multi-sector organisations who operate in challenging times.  Sectors such as, but not limited to Finance, Power, Aerospace, Marine Engineering, Oil & Gas and IT Specialists.  Employers or consultants in both multinationals and SMEs are welcome.
