This event will feature leading experts in, and end users of, mathematics for data-driven industries. It aims to provide insight into how mathematics and statistics can be applied to solve problems across a range of disciplines. Speakers from academia and industry will present a strong case for the need for postgraduate-level skills in applied and computational mathematics, while poster presentations from postgraduate students will showcase cutting-edge research from Strathclyde.

Who should attend?

The event is aimed at postgraduate students and early-career researchers, including SIAM and IAM members, as well as representatives from industry who want to find out about ways of using applied mathematics within their work.
