Tuesday, 2nd May 2017, 10:00 am - 3:30 pm
Registration from 9:30 amComputational Intelligence techniques are key to addressing many problems in the aerospace sector, however, they have much wider application and could benefit any industry involved in the design or redesign process of products and services.
This event will showcase The Intelligent Computational Engineering Laboratory (The ICE-lab) at the University of Strathclyde, highlighting, through a series of examples, how design optimisation, uncertainty quantification and data analytics could benefit different industry sectors.
There will be an opportunity for delegates to participate in the event by presenting an overview of their work, needs and expectations in the area, with a chance to explore the possibility of working together on current and future projects.
Delegates will also be invited to visit the Concurrent and Collaborative Design Studio, the only facility of its kind in Scotland, which enables multidisciplinary teams to take part in concurrent design optimisation studies. Find out how you can access the facility to benefit your organisation.
Registration and refreshments will be available from 9.30am.
