Accelerate your Time to Market with the Lean Startup Method

Wednesday, 3rd May 2017, 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Registration from 12:00 pm

If you are considering developing a new product or service then this event is not to be missed.

Rather than engaging in months of business planning, the Lean Startup method assumes that all you have is a series of untested hypotheses about the product or service’s utility; who the customer is; who will pay for it and what the regulatory or intellectual property requirements are.  The method also assumes that however elegant your existing business plan is, the reality is that most of it is wrong.

You need to search for the facts that validate or invalidate your hypotheses and enable you to pursue strategies that will accelerate the launch and development of your business.

This MediCity Mini-Develop introductory course will give access to Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition tools to help you start testing your hypotheses.

Registration and lunch will be available from 12.00pm with the event starting at 12.30pm.

Who should attend?

  • Anyone with a business idea.
  • Spin-outs, start-ups, scale-ups.
  • Existing companies looking to launch new technologies.
  • Existing companies looking to discover a scalable, repeatable, profitable business model.

Benefits of attending

This introductory course will give aspiring entrepreneurs and business founders an opportunity to learn much more about the viability of their business and how to access the full support programme available through Medicity.
