Inaugural Scottish Clinical Excellence Network for Speech Sound Disorders

Registration from 9:30 amThis is the launch event for a network of Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) who are interested in improving practice in working with people with developmental Speech Sound Disorders (SSDs).
Confirmed speakers are:
- Yvonne Wren, University of Bristol - Risk Factors for Speech Sound Disorders.
- Catherine Jackson (Independent SLT), Alan Wrench (Articulate Instruments Ltd) - Apps for Diagnosis & Treatment of Speech Sound Disorders.
- Joanne Cleland & Claire Timmins, University of Strathclyde - The New ExtIPA & Update on Phonetic Transcription.
Delegates will also take part in workshops and the first AGM of the network, which will offer the opportunity to appoint a committee to organise future network meetings.
