Registration from 9:30 amWorld-leading research from the University of Strathclyde’s Institute for Sensors, Signals and Communications (InstSSC) can have many applications for businesses working in the defence and security sectors.
This event will showcase our extensive capabilities in sensing, electronic surveillance, ultrasonic inspection, communication security and photonics.
Following an overview of IntSSC, a case study will be presented by Brian Barber (Defence Science and Technology Laboratory), which has collaborated with the University on various challenges.
There will be an opportunity to discuss current challenges facing your organisation and you’ll also find out about mechanisms of funding to support future collaborations.
Registration and refreshments will be available from 9.30am.
The event will benefit staff working in the defence and security sector, seeking innovative solutions to develop and improve their products and systems in the areas of sensing, electronic surveillance, ultrasonic inspection, communication security and photonics.
Delegates will learn about the unique set of capabilities within InstSSC, as well as discuss challenges with staff that have expertise in sensors, automation and non-destructive evaluation. Opportunities for collaborative funding will also be outlined.
