Registration from 8:30 amThis event presents successful projects from the 'Renewable Energy Systems and Environment' and 'Offshore Renewable Energy' MSc courses, which address industry and societal challenges. It brings together representatives from industry, researchers, project supervisors, and postgraduate students, to share the outcomes of the projects which aim to demonstrate sustainable solutions for current renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure problems.
Topics include: low carbon districts and communities; 4th generation district heating; deep retrofit of buildings for energy reduction and renewable generation; opportunities for coastal communities; offshore wind and tidal combined energy farms; renewable energy plan for Scotland; hydrogen for renewable electrical system support and transport.
Registration and refreshments will be available from 8.30am and lunch will be provided at 1.00pm.
