Images of Research - Opening Night

Tuesday, 3rd May 2016, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Registration from 5:30 pm

You are invited to attend the launch of the 2016 Images of Research exhibition.

Join entrants, colleagues and visitors to the University for a drinks reception and be amongst the first to hear which are the winning and commended entries.

The event host, Professor Sir Jim McDonald, will be joined by some of this year's competition judges to announce the category winners and open the voting for the overall winner.

This year’s competition challenged the research community to highlight the improvements being made to our world by researchers at the University.  Aligning with Scotland’s Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design, the competition and resulting exhibition will demonstrate how we are working to improve social, physical and mental wellbeing, how our researchers are at the forefront of solving some of the engineering challenges facing society today and how we strive to deliver wider societal benefit by fully exploiting the global impact of our research.

Who should attend?
