Benchmarking Pay and Conditions in the Scottish Voluntary Social Care Sector.

This event is the 7th in a series of working with the Coalition of Care and Support Providers Scotland (CCPS) exploring terms and conditions of employment in the Scottish voluntary sector social care sector.

The research will present the results from a range of providers in the areas of workforce trends, working time, pay and conditions, employee voice, pensions, training and development and technology. The presentations will include researchers from Strathclyde and St Andrews Universities, and guest speakers from the care sector.

This event is targeted at

  • HR professionals,
  • representatives of sector lead bodies,
  • trade union representatives,
  • policy-makers; and
  • academics.  

Benefits of attending

Attendees will see the latest data relating to key terms and conditions awarded to front-line and other staff involved in delivering care. In addition, the results are published in the context of changing economic, social and political factors facing the care sector. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss the policy implications of the results.
