Understanding Emissions and the Economy at a Local Level

Friday, 3rd May 2024, 10:00 am - 1:30 pm

Registration from 9:30 am

This event centres on air quality and emissions data: what can be done with this data and what have we found so far?

The session brings together experts working in the Economics, Architecture, and Electronic and Electrical Engineering departments at Strathclyde, as part of a project monitoring indoor and outdoor air quality data across Glasgow.

The event is a collaborative and multidisciplinary discussion on the uses for air quality monitoring data.

Discussions will focus on air quality monitoring, measurement, and the socioeconomic impacts of poor air quality at a neighbourhood level.

Who should attend?

This event is designed for people working with local data and policy across the energy, health, poverty, and air quality sphere. We encourage those working in local government and private organisations to attend.

Benefits of attending

Participants will hear from scientists working with this data, build relationships in the air quality field, and have the opportunity to inform future research.
