Wednesday, 30th April 2014, 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
This symposium aims to explore opportunities offered by Scotland’s 1+2 language policy through more strategic linkages between universities and schools. The event will bring together representatives from university language departments with stakeholders from the Scottish Funding Council, Scottish Government and the secondary education sector.
The event is jointly organised by Scotland's National Centre for Languages (SCILT) and the University Council for Modern Languages Scotland. There will also be an opportunity to meet with participants from the follow-on twilight event during a networking reception (4.30-5.00pm) where food and refreshments are served.
