Completing The CircleMedicines and older people with visual and/or hearing impairment

This interactive event is an opportunity to learn about the results of a research programme to promote the safe and effective use of medicines by older people with visual and/or hearing impairment and loss, and to contribute to future research on this topic.

A mixture of short presentations, small group discussions and exhibitions will explore themes inclusing older people; sensory impairment - visual and/or hearing; and the safe and effective use of medicines.

Please note this event will take place in the Technology & Innovation Centre which has good accessibility.

  • Health and social care professionals e.g. pharmacists, prescribers, involved with medicines management

This event will present the results of a research programme that explored the challenges experienced by older people with sensory impairment in terms of managing their medicines and potential solutions to some of these challenges.  Delegates will have the opportunity to share their opinions and suggestions for future development.
