Registration from 9:00 amThis event will present the results of a recent pay and conditions benchmarking exercise, which involved voluntary sector employers in social care. The areas covered by the report are key HR issues such as pay, recruitment, retention, absence, representation training, and the skills employment relations climate.
This will be followed by discussion of the implications of the survey for policy and practice, including responses from voluntary sector social care organisations and Scottish Government.

This event is being run in partnership with the HR Voluntary Sector Forum and the Coalition of Care and Support Providers in Scotland (CCPS).
HR Practitioners in the voluntary sector, senior managers from voluntary sector organisations, policy-makers in social care from Scottish and local government.
In addition, we would encourage trade unionists and other NGOs who advocate on behalf of vulnerable people receiving care. Academics and PhD students are also welcome to attend.
Participants will receive updated data on pay and conditions in the sector and will be able to discuss the implications for policy and practice.
