This event will present the results of a recent pay and conditions benchmarking exercise, which involved voluntary sector employers in social care.  The areas covered by the report are key HR issues such as pay, recruitment, retention, absence, representation training, and the skills employment relations climate.

This will be followed by discussion of the implications of the survey for policy and practice, including responses from voluntary sector social care organisations and Scottish Government.

Please see the agenda for the full programme.

You are welcome to join us for a networking lunch following the event.

This event is being run in partnership with the HR Voluntary Sector Forum and the Coalition of Care and Support Providers in Scotland (CCPS).

Who should attend?

In addition, we would encourage trade unionists and other NGOs who advocate on behalf of vulnerable people receiving care. Academics and PhD students are also welcome to attend.
