Wednesday, 4th May 2016, 12:45 pm - 3:50 pm

Registration from 12:15 pm

This half-day event aims to bring together industrial members and key academic partners from the biotechnology sector in Scotland, providing an opportunity to identify the continuing professional development (CPD) requirements of both industry and other IBioIC network partners.

The event will strengthen existing collaborations between employers from the industrial biotechnology (IB) sector, facilitate new links and inform new educational programmes and STEM outreach activities.

Following a networking lunch there will be a series of plenary and workshop sessions and further opportunity for discussion.

Registration and a networking lunch will be available from 12.15pm.

Who should attend?

This event will be of interest to those working in the IB sector particularly employers, Further Education IB skills providers and those involved in STEM careers guidance.

Benefits of attending

This event will provide you with an opportunity to inform the priority areas for employee CPD and also shape ongoing IBioIC educational programmes.

It’s an opportunity for R&D, technical and manufacturing managers to influence the future of training provision in the IB sector.

Attendance also allows industry members to assess the skill level they require from prospective employees.
