Formal Launch of the Centre for Energy PolicyA new policy centre within the University of Strathclyde's new International Public Policy Institute (IPPI)

You are invited to join us at the launch of the new Centre for Energy Policy, part of the University of Strathclyde’s International Public Policy Institute (IPPI)The Centre draws on the outstanding energy-related expertise across the University of Strathclyde in Engineering, Strathclyde Business School (e.g. Economics, Fraser of Allander Institute and Management Science) and Schools of Government and Law.  The Centre for Energy Policy brings together Strathclyde’s expertise in pursuing multi-disciplinary research, knowledge exchange and education in the energy policy arena.

The event will be opened by the Principal, Professor Sir Jim McDonald with keynote speaker Ian Marchant, former CEO of SSE, current Chairman of the Wood Group and Chair of the Centre for Energy Policy.

Lunch will be served from 1pm.


Who should attend?

Those interested and engaged in addressing key public energy ‘trilemma’ challenges (energy security, energy equity, and environmental sustainability) at a local, national or global level.

Come and engage with policy makers, academics and practitioners from the third sector, civil society and industry.
